![]() A touch-up appointment can be made 6-8 weeks after your first session. Once the eyebrow area has fully healed, a touch-up is necessary to secure the foundation of the pigment. That’s is the reason why most clients will need a touchup after 6-8 weeks. Often even with proper care, clients will develop bald spots or lose original hair strokes which make brows look uneven. This might give you the impression that the color is fading too quickly. *Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after recovery period (peeling), brows might appear lighter than original. *The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 days after your procedure. This is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. ![]() It will stay like this for a few days until the pigment clarifies. The pigment will finish flaking and will result in a softer and more narrow appearance. The skin begins to flake and will peel from the outside edges first. Your eyebrows will start to itch and will appear thicker in texture.Įxfoliation begins and any excess pigment from the procedure will fade away. You may experience moderate to thick scabbing. This is completely normal and will subside. They will look much more defined and sharp. There will be a significant thickening and darkening of the eyebrow area. You may also experience redness around the eyebrow area and possible swelling. You may feel some tenderness in the eyebrow area, similar to that of a sunburn. Your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle as outlined below. The entire healing process will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Too much Aquaphor can pull out the pigment and interfere with healing. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area for 10 days. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath. What this means is NO Aquaphor daily, only when you need it, such as before taking a shower and towards the end of healing when brows scab and get dry or itchy. The biggest importance is for you to dry heal as much as possible during the 10 days of healing. Microblading takes about 7 to 10 days to heal before it can get completely wet without disturbing the healing process.īlot your eyebrows if they get weepy within 24 hours post-procedure with a dry cotton round and clean fingers.
